Projects in OutreachBox help you organize and track your marketing efforts. Each project represents a website or marketing initiative you want to analyze, optimize, and manage.

Creating a Project
- Navigate to Projects from the main menu
- Click New Project button
- Fill in the project details:
- Name: Project name (e.g., "Company Website")
- Description: Brief description of the project
- URL: Website URL to analyze
- Status: Planning, Active, On Hold, or Completed
- Priority: Low, Medium, High, or Urgent
- Focus Keywords: Add relevant keywords for SEO
- Auto Start Crawl: Enable to automatically start crawling when project is created
- Click Create Project

- Visual cards showing project information
- Quick overview of project status
- Easy navigation to project details
List View
- Compact list format
- More projects visible at once
- Quick scanning of project information
Table View
- Detailed tabular format
- Sortable columns
- All project information visible
- Best for detailed analysis
Switch between views using the view toggle buttons.

Managing Projects
Editing a Project
- Navigate to the project detail page
- Click Edit button
- Update project information
- Save changes
Duplicating a Project
- Click the duplicate icon on a project card
- The project will be copied with "(Copy)" appended to the name
- Edit the duplicate as needed
Archiving a Project
- Click Delete on a project (this archives it)
- Confirm the archive action
- Archived projects move to the "Archived Projects" section
- You can restore archived projects later
Restoring Archived Projects
- Scroll to the "Archived Projects" section
- Click Show Archived
- Click Restore on any archived project
- The project will return to the active projects list
Filters and Search
Search Projects
- Use the search bar to find projects by name, description, or URL
- Search is case-insensitive
- Real-time filtering as you type
Status Filter
Filter projects by status:
- All Statuses: Show all projects
- Planning: Projects in planning phase
- Active: Currently active projects
- On Hold: Temporarily paused projects
- Completed: Finished projects
Priority Filter
Filter projects by priority:
- All Priorities: Show all priorities
- Low: Low priority projects
- Medium: Medium priority projects
- High: High priority projects
- Urgent: Urgent priority projects
Import/Export
Exporting Projects
- Click Export button
- Projects are exported as CSV
- File downloads automatically
- Includes all project data and keywords
Importing Projects
- Click Import button
- Select a JSON file containing project data
- File is uploaded and processed
- Imported projects appear in your list
- Review import results for any errors
Note: Import file must be in JSON format matching the project structure.
Project Statistics
View project statistics at the top of the projects page:
- Total projects
- Active projects
- Projects by status
- Projects by priority
Best Practices
- Use Descriptive Names: Name projects clearly for easy identification
- Set Priorities: Prioritize projects to focus on important work
- Add Keywords: Include relevant focus keywords for SEO tracking
- Regular Updates: Update project status as work progresses
- Team Collaboration: Add team members for collaborative projects
- Archive Completed: Archive completed projects to keep the list clean
Troubleshooting
Project Not Creating
- Check that all required fields are filled
- Verify the URL is valid
- Ensure you have permission to create projects
- Check subscription limits
Crawler Not Starting
- Verify "Auto Start Crawl" is enabled
- Check that the URL is accessible
- Ensure crawler service is running
- Contact support if issues persist
Import Failing
- Verify file format is JSON
- Check file structure matches project schema
- Ensure file size is within limits
- Review error messages for specific issues
